Because we would like to give you the best taste and quality experience, care and dedication are important key words when we produce OK Snacks. The constant control applies to all parts - from the daily receipt of raw products to the finished pork crackling or snack. All the way through, temperatures, appearance, aroma and flavour are tested. Checking the percentage of fat and bacteriology are constantly conducted by recognised impartial laboratories.

BRC and IFS CERTIFICATE
As a natural consequence of our significant focus on quality, snacks from OK Snacks are certified according to the demanding food standards of BRC and IFS. This certification does not only provide the green light to deliver our snacks to European chain stores, but also to more exotic growth markets such as Korea and China.
LARGE INVESTMENT IN GOOD ENVIRONMENT
Over recent years, OK Snacks as made large investments in the environmental and energy area. This is work that will continue in the future. As a consequence, by far the majority of our energy consumption today has been converted from oil to more CO2-friendly natural gas.
Our biggest gain has been achieved by entering into agreements on environmentally responsible handling of our waste water, our organic waste and flammable waste. Waste water from OK Snacks is not drained to the local waste water treatment plant, but is collected in tanks and subsequently reused in a biogas plant. Our goal is that we will save 5% energy per produced kilogram on an annual basis. Everyone in the company is committed to this ambitious objective. For example, we use sensors that automatically switch lights on and off and ultramodern equipment is used for the daily cleaning, which reduces water and soap consumption.
